I believe jewelry represents the stories of our lives. It reflects our roots, celebrations, and sense of self, while also providing sentimental heirlooms for future generations. Each bespoke piece I create narrates the personal story of the wearer, intertwined with my own story as the artist. What is my story? It is constantly evolving, but its core is rooted in a deep passion for my craft, my commitment to exceptional design, and a genuine care for people and the planet. I am drawn to taking old things and making them new again, a theme that resonates throughout my work and is reflected in my Finger Lakes studio, housed in a beautifully renovated 1930s wood and stone home.
From an early age, I knew I would be an artist. I embarked on my journey at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, N.Y., initially majoring in graphic design. However, with the guidance of insightful professors, I discovered my true calling in fine arts, leading me to an elective course in jewelry making that ignited my passion. This path took me to work with talented designers in New York City, traveling across the United States, and ultimately establishing my studio in Atlanta, Georgia. Now, I proudly call the Finger Lakes region home, specifically the picturesque Cayuga Inlet Valley just south of Ithaca. For 37 years, I have dedicated my life to crafting exquisite jewelry that resonates with meaning and artistry.
