My pots are made with stoneware clay on a slow turning kick wheel. Through a series of cuts and surface treatments, the forms are reworked to incorporate handles and bring out the sandy texture inside the clay wall. Varied hues are brought out in the clay body through the wood firing process. Beauty and function are central intentions in my work.
