In 2003 I left a corporate career to become a full-time artist. After two residencies in Taiwan my work has risen to national acclaim. Hand-carved tree trunk vessels represent transformations and are created with meticulous detail, bringing forth trees’ magnificence, individuality and energy. They are created in my scenic country studio. Enjoy Taiwanese tea all day and raku firing demonstrations 2:00 PM open studio weekends.

The studio is just 15 minutes from downtown Ithaca. Follow Route 13 South past Wegmans, Tops, the fast food restaurants and Buttermilk Falls State Park. Veer to the right, continuing on Route 13 South up the big hill for about four and one-half miles until you pass the Gulf gas station. Travel for one and one-half more miles and make a right onto Trumbulls Corners Road (there is a car wash on the opposite corner). Follow Trumbulls Corners Road to the first stop sign and make a left onto Sebring Road. The studio, #528 is about 100 yards on the right.
