I make narrative art constructed of cloth (I refer to them as "banners"). I use a technique I call neo-reverse appliqué because it supports my interest in the drawn line, and because it enables me to imply volume in the figures I draw.

STUDIO DIRECTIONS

Go west on State Street, North to Trumansburg on Highway 96. In Trumansburg turn left on South Street, at the big churches, drive one block to Whig Street, turn left again. My studio is at 39 Whig, an old blue house.
